Marty Hill is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and evaluation, currently serving as President of VIP Research and Evaluation since July 2011 and as Associate Director of Research and Evaluation at the Marjorie Kovler Center at Heartland Alliance since June 2012. Prior roles include Director of the Frost Center for Social Science Research at Hope College, Senior Research Associate at Richard Day Research, and Senior Research Manager at Opinion Research Corporation. Marty began the career as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at McDougal Littell and held a Research Associate position at the Kercher Center for Social Research, following an earlier role as a Research Analyst for the U.S. Department of Justice/Bureau of Prisons. Marty holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Western Michigan University, specializing in Applied Research/Evaluation and Medical Sociology.
