Mitch McCartney

Mitch McCartney has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Mitch'smost recent role was as the Community Relations Operations Director at Heartland Family Service, where they previously held positions as Development Operations Director and Development Manager. Before that, they served as the Program Director at Salvation Army Kroc Center Omaha. Additionally, they held various communication and development roles at Nebraska Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Earlier in their career, Mitch worked at the State of Nebraska - Legislative Council, culminating in their position as the Director of Unicameral Information Office.

Mitch McCartney earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications, Journalism, and Political Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1990. Mitch went on to complete a Master's degree in Public Administration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2002. In 2004, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Legislative Staff Management from the University of Minnesota.
