Cody Simoens

Cody Simoens is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in loan review and financial examination. Currently serving as Loan Review Team Lead II at HTLF since May 2021, Cody previously held the position of Loan Review Officer at Heartland Financial USA, Inc. from April 2013 to May 2021. Prior to this, Cody worked as a Senior Consultant at McGladrey from October 2010 to April 2013 and as a Financial Institution Specialist at the FDIC from July 2007 to October 2010, where key responsibilities included reviewing commercial loans and examining community banks for safety and soundness. Cody holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from Wartburg College, attained in 2007.
