Dan Golden

Dan Golden, CRCM has extensive experience in compliance and security roles. Dan began their career as a Personal Banker at First National Bank of Omaha in 1993, and later served as a Compliance Officer/Security Officer at the same bank from 1994 to 2007. Following this, they worked as a Supervisor at McGladrey from 2007 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Morrill and Janes Bank as a Senior Compliance Analyst and Bank-Wide Security Officer. Dan then moved to HTLF as a Senior Compliance Testing Officer, VP in 2023. Throughout their career, Dan has been responsible for a range of compliance tasks including testing, assessing risks, drafting scoping documents, and chairing compliance committees. Dan also has experience in conducting audits and quality control reviews. Dan has strong expertise in areas such as Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC, and Customer Identification Program compliance.

Dan Golden, CRCM, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Kansas State University, which they completed from 1987 to 1991. Prior to that, they attended Wichita State University in 1986 and Sumner Academy of Arts and Sciences from 1981 to 1986 for college preparation. Dan Golden also obtained a certification as a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) from the Institute of Certified Bankers/American Bankers Association in 2014 and completed the Dale Carnegie Course from Dale Carnegie Training.
