Lawrence Silberman

Lawrence Silberman has an extensive work experience in the banking and finance industry. Lawrence currently holds the position of Senior Vice President and Head of CRE Credit Administration at HTLF since November 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Manager of Commercial Loan Originations at Alliant Credit Union from June 2017 to November 2018. Lawrence also worked at Fifth Third Bank as a Senior Vice President for a decade from July 2007 to June 2017. Lawrence's earlier roles include serving as Regional President at MB Financial Bank from 2004 to 2007, Senior Vice President at KeyBank Real Estate Capital from 2002 to 2004, Senior Vice President at Old Kent Bank from 1999 to 2002, Senior Vice President at LaSalle Bank from 1995 to 1999, and Vice President & Division Manager at Boulevard Bancorp from 1991 to 1994. Lawrence also gained valuable experience at The Balcor Company as a Vice President, Underwriting Manager, and Senior Portfolio Manager from 1984 to 1990 and started their career as a Loan Officer at The Northern Trust in 1982.

Lawrence Silberman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Chicago between 1975 and 1978. Lawrence later completed their MBA in Finance, Marketing, and Managerial Economics from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management from 1980 to 1982.
