Mike Major

Mike Major has a extensive and varied work experience in the banking and financial sector. Mike most recently served as the Regional Bank Chief Financial Officer Liaison and Senior Vice President at Heartland Financial USA, Inc. from July 2021 to present. Prior to this, they held the role of Regional Chief Financial Officer for the Midwest Region at the same company from December 2019 to June 2021. Before joining Heartland Financial USA, Inc., Mike was the Executive Vice President and Head of Operations at Bank of Blue Valley from August 2015 to December 2019.

In addition to their banking career, Mike has also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Great Plains SPCA from March 2014 to July 2015. Mike was a Senior Vice President at Enterprise Bank & Trust from September 2011 to January 2013.

Their career in banking began at First National Bank of Olathe in November 1975, where they held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer until August 2011.

Mike Major earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics from MidAmerica Nazarene University, where they studied from 1972 to 1976.
