Sean Sallie

Sean Sallie, AICP, currently serves as the Director of Planning & Development at Heatherwood Luxury Rentals, a position held since May 2022. Additionally, Sean is an Adjunct Professor in Urban Infrastructure Systems at Stony Brook University since August 2018, focusing on Environmental Design, Policy, and Planning. Prior experience includes serving as the Deputy Commissioner for Planning at Nassau County Department of Public Works from January 2018 to April 2022, and as Long Island Section Director for the American Planning Association from January 2015 to December 2020. Sean's earlier roles encompass Planning Division Supervisor at Nassau County Planning Commission from October 2003 to December 2017 and a Junior GIS Analyst at NAVTEQ in 2003. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Geography & Environmental Systems from the University at Buffalo and a Master of Science in Environmental Management from LIU Post.
