Jon Shields

Jon Shields has over 30 years of work experience in the tire industry. Jon'smost recent role is as a Territory Sales Manager at Heavy Duty Tire LLC since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Outside Sales Representative at Myers Tire Supply from 2021 to 2022. From 2019 to 2020, Jon served as a Product Training Manager at Pirelli, where they organized and updated training modules, developed presentations, and delivered product presentations to key accounts. Jon also worked at TBC Corporation as a Northeast Zone Regional Manager for Equipment and Non Tire Sales from 2018 to 2019, exceeding sales targets and developing new markets. Before that, Jon was a Field Sales and Training Manager at Carroll Tire Company from 2015 to 2018, where they trained new branch managers and assisted with sales and marketing. Jon also held the role of General Manager at Carroll Tire Company from 2007 to 2015, managing multiple locations and achieving significant financial results. Jon started their career as an Outside Account Manager at American Tire Distributors from 1998 to 2007, where they achieved high sales results and received recognition for their performance. Prior to that, they worked as a Store Manager at Kauffman Tire from 1996 to 1998 and National Tire Wholesale from 1990 to 1995, where they exceeded sales targets and managed successful locations. Jon began their professional journey in the U.S. Navy Reserve, where they served as an Aviation Maintenance Administrator from 1987 to 1993.

Jon Shields obtained their Private Aircraft Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in May 1983. From 1987 to 1992, they attended Kennesaw State University and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing.
