Mike Maguire

Mike Maguire has an extensive work history in finance and leadership. Mike is currently a Co-Founder and VP of Finance at Pangea, a role they have held since 2021. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Vice President in the Structured Finance Group at HSBC, where they developed securitization financing solutions for clients across an array of asset classes and worked with private equity and asset management firms to implement capital call and other fund financing facilities. From 2013 to 2016, they were an Associate in the Securitized Products group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and an MBA Intern in the Structured Finance group at Ernst & Young. From 2007 to 2013, they served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps, where they held roles such as Company Commander, Military Advisory Team Leader, Company Executive Officer, and Platoon Commander, leading teams of Marines from 3 to 220. Mike completed multiple deployments to over 15 countries in the Middle East, West Africa, Caribbean, and East Asia, and their operational experience includes leading security, stabilization, humanitarian, disaster relief, training, and advisory operations.

Mike Maguire obtained their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Miami University between 2003 and 2007. Mike then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Fordham University between 2012 and 2015. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the National Futures Association (Series 3), FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) (Series 63, Series 7, and Series 79).
