Ann Tyer

Ann Tyer, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. Ann currently serves as the Sr. Vice President of HR at Heelstone Renewable Energy, LLC, where they lead the HR function, supports organizational success, and implements strategic initiatives. Prior to this, they held the role of Vice President of Human Resources at the same company.

Before joining Heelstone Renewable Energy, LLC, Ann was the Human Resources Manager at Bühler Motor / Buehler Motor, where they were responsible for all HR areas in the US offices. Ann also worked closely with the global HR team to implement global initiatives and acted as Deputy for the President and General Manager of North American Operations.

Earlier in their career, Ann worked as the Senior HR Manager at Vicious Cycle Software, contributing to the company's growth and success by overseeing various HR functions. Ann joined the company when it had 18 employees and played a key role in expanding the team to over 65 employees.

Furthermore, Ann gained experience as an Employee Benefit Specialist at Mellon HR Solutions, where they provided assistance and information on employee benefits and enrollment procedures.

Throughout their career, Ann has demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, compliance, policy development, and leadership coaching. Ann has a people-centric approach and strives to achieve business growth and goals through effective HR strategies.

Ann Tyer, SHRM-SCP obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Appalachian State University between 1998 and 2000. Ann also holds additional certifications, including the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, obtained in October 2022, and the MBTI Certified Practitioner from The Myers & Briggs Foundation, obtained in 2020.
