Alex van der Steen

Alex van der Steen's work experience includes roles at various companies. From 2023, they have been working as the Lead People Development at Heerema Marine Contractors. Prior to that, from 2022 to 2023, they worked at C&A in Leadership Development. Alex also worked as an Independent Consultant, serving as the Founder and Owner from 2018 to 2022. Before that, they worked at Booking.com as the Global Leadership and Management Development Manager from 2016 to 2018, and at Salesforce as the Senior Manager Sales Enablement from 2015 to 2016. In 2014, they worked at Aramco Overseas Company as the Supervisor Center of Expertise. Earlier in their career, they held multiple roles at Forrester Research including Director Global Sales Enablement and Sales Training from 2009 to 2012, Deputy President EMEA from 2008 to 2012, Director Sales Training from 2006 to 2009, and Project Manager Ad Interim VP of Sales EMEA from 2007 to 2007. Alex started their career as a Senior Consultant at MATCH from 2001 to 2006.

Alex van der Steen has pursued an International Bachelor's degree in European studies, English, Spanish, Economics, and History at the University of Amsterdam. Additionally, they have also studied English and Dutch at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, where they completed a Bachelor's degree.
