Fabian Tan

Fabian Tan is a Principal at Heidrick & Struggles, specializing in executive search, CEO and board succession, CFO succession, and restructuring and M&A talent advisory since February 2015. Previously held roles include Engagement Manager in the Global CEO & Board Practice and in the Global Industrial and Financial Officers Practices, where expertise encompassed leadership assessment and sector coverage in energy, financial services, transportation, and industrial sectors. As Co-Founder of PlayPal, Asia's first football community app, Fabian developed an innovative platform for matching footballers and pitches. Experience includes a tenure at Maersk Broker in asset management and newbuilding projects, where notable achievements included leading tanker projects and S&P transactions. A former professional footballer, Fabian played in the S-League and achieved significant recognition during an athletic career while pursuing a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and a postgraduate certificate from Middlesex University.
