Tom Monahan

Tom has the honor of leading the exceptional team at Heidrick & Struggles, the world's foremost leadership advisory platform. He is passionate about creating high performing organizations and driven by the fact that the most important levers of creating high performance are the caliber and fit of leaders, and the tools they have to shape culture and performance.

Across his career, he has engaged in businesses and movements that leverage innovative technology, robust data, and exceptional people to inflect business performance, improve individual lives, and produce healthy and just societies. Tom also currently serves as Vice Chairman of DeVry University, which prepares learners to thrive in careers shaped by continuous technological change and where he previously served as CEO. Prior to this, Tom served as Chairman of PK, the pioneering experience engineering firm, and and spent more than two decades as a leader, CEO and Chairman of CEB (NYSE: CEB). As part of CEB's leadership, Tom and his colleagues helped redefine how the world's leading companies make their most important decisions.

He has also served as an independent director for a range of public and private company boards as -- variously --Chair of Audit, Compensation and Governance committees -- including Transunion (NYSE: TRU, Convergys (NYSE: CVG), Winsight,and Workforce Logiq.
