Fernando Teixeira Borges

Fernando Teixeira Borges is an experienced utilities and sustainability manager currently serving as Utilities Manager and Sustainability Lead at The HEINEKEN Company since August 2022. Prior roles include managing utilities projects at Progen and serving as Project Manager at TRANSMISERVICE. Previously, Fernando held the position of Global Lead Renewable Energy at The HEINEKEN Company from December 2017 to April 2021, where responsibilities included driving renewable energy projects and ensuring their execution. Fernando also served as a Corporate Utilities Specialist and Energy Efficiency Specialist at Ambev from July 2009 to November 2017, focusing on energy efficiency and compliance with safety regulations. Fernando holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
