Will Harrington has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2016, they worked as a Groundskeeping Assistant at The Well School, where they assisted with landscaping, campus maintenance, and administrative tasks.
In 2017, they joined the Florida Institute of Technology as a Research Team Lead, managing a team of students processing JunoCam satellite images of Jupiter. Will also designed and built mechanical subsystems for a robot and served as the team's representative at the IEEE SoutheastCon 2019 Student Hardware Competition. Additionally, they worked as a Capstone Design Project Systems Engineer, researching and designing an aerial survey system for Mars exploration.
In 2021, Will transitioned to the role of Graduate Student Research Assistant at the Florida Institute of Technology. Here, they developed an iOS app for facial kinematics analysis using deep learning models and integrated 3D face point cloud estimation.
Moving to industry roles, they worked as a Data Scientist at kapitalcall in 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Software Engineer at HEKA, starting from 2023.
