Daniel N. Wachira

Daniel N. Wachira is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health and nutrition program management. Currently serving as a Regional Program Officer at Helen Keller Intl since May 2022, Daniel focuses on strengthening county health systems through collaboration and capacity building. Prior experience includes a role at World Vision as a Program Officer for Health and Nutrition, managing integrated health and nutrition projects funded by USAID and WFP. Additionally, Daniel has worked as a part-time lecturer at Meru University of Science and Technology and contributed to nutrition programs at Beacon of Hope. Throughout their career, Daniel has emphasized effective project implementation, community health strategies, and technical support, underpinned by a solid educational foundation with a Master’s degree in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Nairobi.
