Douglas Nutter

Douglas Nutter has an extensive work history, beginning with their role as Director of Fermentation Research at Martek Biosciences from 1992 to 1997. During this time, they implemented statistical methodologies, trained and supervised a research group, coordinated research efforts, and designed and oversaw fermentation experiments. Douglas also developed protocols for fermentation operation, data processing, and analysis.

Following their time at Martek Biosciences, Nutter worked as the Coordinator of Advising and Curriculum Development at The University of Arizona, Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from 2005 to 2007.

In 2008, they became a Research Analyst/Assessment Coordinator at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy until 2010.

Nutter then transitioned to Bowie State University, where they served as the Director of Institutional Research from 2010 to 2016.

Finally, they joined HelioCampus in 2016 and held various roles, including Principal Analyst from 2016 to 2018, followed by their current position as Director of Analytics.

Douglas Nutter received their PhD in Ecology & Evolution from the University of Chicago, where they studied from 1999 to 2005.
