Steve Beisser

Steve Beisser has a diverse work experience in various industries. Steve has worked as a Professor of the Practice at The University of North Carolina - Kenan Flagler Business School, where they advised and mentored students and served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at a business accelerator. Steve was also a Vice President and Principal Founder at HelioCampus, where they led the Benchmarking Consortium and oversaw operations. Steve has invested in Cofounders Capital as a Limited Partner and is an Associate Member at Carolina Angel Network.

Steve's entrepreneurial journey began with the founding of the Academic Benchmarking Consortium, Inc., where they served as the President and Principal Founder. Steve also owned and operated a Mathnasium franchise learning center. Prior to their entrepreneurial endeavors, they held positions such as Senior Product Manager at Truven Health Analytics and Internal Management Consultant at Duke University Hospital.

In addition to their professional experiences, Steve was the Interim Associate Operating Officer at Duke Heart Center and served as the Executive Director of Faculty Connection, LLC. Overall, Steve has a wealth of experience in management consulting, entrepreneurship, and healthcare operations.

Steve Beisser received their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University. Steve attended Rutgers University from 1982 to 1986. After completing their undergraduate degree, they pursued further education and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Steve studied at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 1994 to 1996, focusing on the field of study in Business Administration and Management, General.
