Jamie Goldfield

Jamie Goldfield is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Heliogen, responsible for designing the company's low-cost mirror for concentrated solar thermal power production. Jamie drastically reduced mirror subsystem cost, improved reliability, and demonstrated optical stability in tests. With a background in mechanical engineering, Jamie has experience in both aerospace (SpaceX) and solar car projects (Stanford Solar Car Project), showing expertise in design, analysis, and manufacturing. Jamie holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
