Sean Findlay

Sean Findlay has extensive work experience in various senior roles. Sean started their career as a Submarine Officer in the US Navy and served in a leadership position on the USS Nevada. After leaving the Navy, they joined Blue Origin, where they held multiple roles including Project Lead, Launch Operations Lead, and Director of New Shepard Operations and Maintenance. Sean was responsible for establishing processes, procedures, and maintenance plans for the company's reusable rocket fleet. Sean also worked as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Tethers Unlimited, Inc. and as a Sr. Project Manager at TerraPower LLC, where they managed the Molten Chloride Reactor Experiment. Sean is currently the Director of Test Operations at Helion.

Sean Findlay has a Bachelor of Science in Aero-Astro Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Sean also holds a Master's degree in Aero-Astro Engineering from the University of Washington. Sean obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2020.
