Katie Fegan

Katie Fegan is a dedicated medical writer at Helios Global Group since July 2022, following a PhD in Physical Sciences for Health from the University of Birmingham, where research focused on poly(vinyl alcohol)-based cryogels for cardiovascular implants. Katie contributed as a student writer for Physics World from November 2020 to October 2022 and served as Life Sciences Editor for SATNAV, the University of Birmingham’s STEM magazine, from October 2020 to June 2021. Earlier experience includes roles as a Chemistry Ambassador at the University of Leicester, where fundraising efforts exceeded £79k for medical initiatives. Katie holds an MChem in Chemistry from the University of Leicester, completed in 2017.
