CEO and Co-Founder by title, Sean is the mastermind and driving force behind Helios.

From leading the strategic mission and business development, to rolling up his sleeves for the hands-on work of day-to-day operations, Sean is invested in changing how financial markets operate globally.

An accomplished Chief Product Officer for aptihealth with a track record of growing the company to over $100 million in enterprise value from day one, he’s a true visionary and veteran of the industry; but it pales in comparison to the meteoric heights he’s taking Helios to.

He founded the company in 2017 alongside Dr. Gerwin Schalk after meticulously paving the path towards its creation throughout his 20s. He founded his own biometric analysis company - advised by Dr. Schalk - at just 19 years old, and later joined another audio startup that would be Spotify’s first acquisition in 2013.

Previously, he led Spotify’s global audio team to dominance, and seeking harder tech and machine learning at-scale, made the move to Stockholm for a core ML role for Klarna before returning to New York to make his vision of Helios a reality.
