Igor Shupik

Igor Shupik has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Igor started their career as a translator and interpreter in 1995, working for OOO Mega until 2002. Igor then joined JSC Odema as a Translator at the Marketing Department for a year. In 2007, they became an English Language Instructor at the Moscow Institute of Enterpreneurship and Law (Tiraspol branch) until 2011. Alongside this, they also worked as a Lecturer at Taras Shevchenko Transnistria State University from 2002 to 2012.

In 2014, Igor began freelancing as a Translator, providing Russian to English and English to Russian translation services in various fields such as general subjects, business correspondence, law, economics and finance, technology and engineering, and research articles. Igor continued their freelance translation work until 2017.

In 2017, Igor joined Helium 10 as a Project Manager, where they worked until September 2022. Igor then transitioned to the role of a Senior Technical Support Specialist, with no specified end date.

Throughout their career, Igor has developed expertise in translation, teaching, project management, and technical support.

Igor Shupik completed their undergraduate education at Universitatea de Stat din Moldova from 1994 to 2000. During this time, they obtained a Specialist degree in English Philology.

Later, in 2008 to 2009, Igor attended Taras Shevchenko Transnistria State University, where they earned another Specialist degree, this time in Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages and Cultures.

Additionally, Igor obtained two certifications from Coursera. In August 2014, they completed a course called "English Common Law: Structure and Principles." Igor also obtained another certification in July 2014 called "Crafting an Effective Writer: Tools of the Trade (Fundamental English Writing)."
