Chinmay Patil

Chinmay Patil has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. CHINMAY is currently working as a Lead Systems Engineer at HELLA. Prior to this, they worked at Schaeffler, where they held various positions including Group Leader - Independent Verification and Validation (Thermal Management), Engineer-Testing, and Associate Test Engineer. CHINMAY also has experience as a Product Engineering Co-op at ZF Group. Before that, they worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where they focused on autonomous collision avoidance, trajectory development, and driver assistance systems. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Professor at Saraswati College of Engineering, teaching technical subjects and guiding students in creating DFMEAs. CHINMAY also has previous experience as a Trainee Technician at Shaman Wheels Pvt. Ltd. and as a Vacation Trainee at Mahindra & Mahindra and TATA Power.

Chinmay Patil earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Fr. C. Rodriques Institute of Technology (Fr. Agnels) in 2011. CHINMAY then pursued a Master's degree in Automotive Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn from 2013 to 2015. In 2016, Chinmay Patil completed another Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

To further their education, in 2019 they participated in the Intro to Self-Driving Cars Nanodegree Program offered by Udacity, specializing in Self-Driving Vehicles.

In terms of certifications, Chinmay Patil completed Computer Vision Basics from Coursera in February 2022. CHINMAY also obtained certifications in An Introduction to Reliability Engineering and Design of Experiment | DOE from Udemy in April 2020.
