Omar Rayahi

Omar Rayahi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in developing embedded software and system modeling. Since 2011, Omar has served as a Software Engineer at HELLA, creating Matlab/Simulink models and embedded software for automotive applications, collaborating closely with major clients like GM, Ford, Chrysler, and Hyundai. Prior to this role, Omar was a Lecturer at Khalifa University, contributing to laboratory management, equipment assessment, and student training from 2009 to 2011. Earlier experience includes research assistance at the University of Windsor, where Omar developed an optimization CAD tool for FPGA implementation and published a conference paper. Omar holds a Master of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Windsor.
