Sandy Lewis

Sandy Lewis has extensive work experience in the field of optical engineering. They started their career as a Photomedienlaborantin at Photo Ruser in 1999 and later worked as a Fotolaborantin - Manager IT8 Labor at LaserSoft Imaging AG from 2002 to 2003. In 2008, they became a Research Assistant at RWTH Aachen University, working in the Chair for Technology of Optical Systems until 2011. They then served as an Engineering Intern at Fraunhofer USA - Center for Laser Technology from 2011 to 2011. Following that, Sandy joined Fraunhofer USA - Center for Laser Technology as an Optical Engineer from March 2012 to September 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as an Optics Engineer at HELLA before joining Grakon as an Optical Engineer from September 2016 to October 2019. Sandy returned to HELLA in 2019 as a Lead Lighting Engineer, where they currently hold the position.

Sandy Lewis completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering - Optical Technologies from Cologne University of Applied Sciences, graduating in 2009. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the same institution from 2010 to 2012, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree.
