Martine Lavoie

Martine Lavoie has extensive work experience at Soucy, starting in 2009. Their roles at Soucy include Director of Engineering (since February 2022), Supervisor of Engineering (from June 2019 to February 2022), and Project Engineer specializing in Noise and Vibration (from January 2009 to May 2019). In their roles, Martine was involved in various engineering and design tasks such as product design, finite element analysis, computer-assisted design, technical drawing preparation, project management, tooling design, testing, and data analysis. Martine also had responsibilities in general engineering, including technical reviews, process improvement, internal auditing, and support for the physical testing laboratory. Prior to their work at Soucy, Martine had a temporary engineering internship at Soucy in 2008. Martine also worked as a Teaching Assistant at École Polytechnique de Montréal in 2007.

Martine Lavoie completed their education with a M.Sc.A. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a B. Ing. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they completed a DEC in Sciences de la nature from Cégep André-Laurendeau from 2000 to 2002.
