Andreas Papakyriacopoulos had a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Andreas began their career in 1991 at Procter & Gamble as a Brand Manager within the cosmetics and fragrances sector. Following this, they worked at L'Oréal as a Marketing Director for a year. In 1999, Andreas transitioned to P&K Securities, where they served as the Managing Director of P&K Online until 2001. Andreas then joined EFG Eurobank as a Senior Manager in Wholesale Banking, where they worked for six years until 2008. Andreas went on to become the Principal Owner of RE Ventures from 2008 to 2011. Starting in 2011, they joined EY as the Director of Advisory Services for Banking & Financial Services, where they built a strong track record and led various high-impact projects until 2018. In 2018, Andreas moved to the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund, initially as the Head of Risk Management & NPL Resolution and later took on the role of Head of Corporate Governance, where they focused on strengthening the banks' board composition, following international best practices, and integrating ESG principles.
Andreas Papakyriacopoulos completed their education in a chronological order. Andreas first attended Cornell University from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics with Distinction. Subsequently, they pursued further studies at Cornell University from 1982 to 1988, obtaining a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction. Afterward, they continued their academic journey at INSEAD in 1990 and 1991, completing a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance & Strategy.
