Hilary Straw

Hilary Straw has extensive experience in human resources and people operations. Hilary is currently serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at Candle Media since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at Hello Sunshine Official, starting in October 2021. Additionally, they served as the Director of HR at Hello Sunshine Official from October 2019 to October 2021. Before that, they worked as the Director of People Operations + Culture at Sifted.co from November 2018 to November 2019. Hilary also has experience as a Yoga Teacher at CorePower Yoga from March 2017 to November 2019. Their earlier roles include serving as the Director of People and Culture at Territory Foods from October 2015 to November 2018 and holding various roles in HR and operations at Atlantic Coast Mortgage, LLC from January 2012 to October 2015. Hilary played a key role in implementing HRIS systems, managing recruiting practices, and improving operational efficiencies in these positions.

Hilary Straw earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Studies with a concentration in art and culture from George Mason University between 2006 and 2010. Hilary also holds a certification as a 200 Hour Power Yoga Teacher from Yoga Alliance.
