Toby Harper

Toby Harper is the Founder and CEO of Harper James, a pioneering full-service commercial law firm established in May 2014. In addition to this role, Toby is a member of Helm (formerly The Supper Club) since January 2023. Previously, Toby served as an in-house Corporate Solicitor at Midven from May 2012 to May 2013, providing legal counsel to a venture capital investment team. Additional experience includes working as a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor at Shakespeares, and as a Corporate Solicitor at Hawkins Hatton LLP, where Toby managed a variety of corporate transactions. As a Business Mentor for The Prince's Trust from September 2009 to December 2011, Toby supported young entrepreneurs with business advice and strategies. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, Birmingham, and an LLB in Law and Business Studies from Swansea University.
