John Emmert

John Emmert is the current Chief Financial Officer at HELP USA. John has held this position since August of 2018. Prior to their work at HELP USA, John Emmert was the Chief Financial Officer for The New York Women's Foundation from April of 2017 to August of 2018.

Before their time at The New York Women's Foundation, John Emmert served as the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for ICSC from March of 2013 to July of 2016. While at ICSC, John was responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of the company.

Prior to their work at ICSC, John Emmert served as the Chief Financial Officer for Seedco from July of 2012 to March of 2013. In this role, they were responsible for Seedco's financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.

In addition to their work as a Chief Financial Officer, John Emmert has also served as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Support Center for Nonprofit Management from January of 2002 to April of 2018. In this role, they were responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for the Support Center for Nonprofit Management.

Before their work in the nonprofit sector, John Emmert served as the EVP & COO, CFO and SVP for the American Arbitration Association from June of 1992 to October of 2011. In this role, they were responsible for the financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management for the American Arbitration Association.

John Emmert began their career in 1980 as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young. John worked at Ernst & Young from September of 1980 to May of 1992.

John Emmert has dedicated their career to financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. John has over 20 years of experience in these fields.

John Emmert completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting at Pace University's Lubin School of Business. John is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), having received certification from The University of the State of New York.

They work with Susan Cahill - VP, Grants Management & Contract Compliance, Gina Quijada - VP, Information Technology, and Stephen Mott - Chief of Staff. John Emmert reports to Tom Hameline, President & CEO.
