Nhi Cao

Nhi received her B.S. in Biology with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her Ph.D. in Insect Science with a minor in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Arizona. She was the recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and the BioME National Science Foundation GK-12 Teaching Fellowship. In addition, Nhi has extensive experience in working with underserved students. Throughout her academic career, she was involved in community outreach and science education. Nhi has worked in higher education and has also been a science teacher for grades 6th-12th.

In addition to education, Nhi has a passion for health and fitness. She was previously a fitness program director and trainer. In her free time, Nhi enjoys CrossFit, running in races, and spending time with her daughter and dachshund.
