Jeroen van 'T Hooft

Jeroen van 't Hooft has a diverse work history that includes roles in various industries. Jeroen started their career at AIESEC Swiss Career Days Association, where they served as President and coordinated career and recruitment events at several Swiss universities. Jeroen then worked as a Project Leader at Ander Group, managing a website development project. Later, Jeroen joined FMO - Dutch Development Bank as a Portfolio Analyst, monitoring investees in the Private Equity and Leveraged Finance departments. Jeroen then joined UBS as a Graduate Trainee, gaining project experience in asset management, mergers & acquisitions, retail banking, and wealth management. Jeroen continued at UBS as a Product Developer, focusing on market development and client advisory. Jeroen then moved to Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, first as a Management Consultant and later as Chief of Staff, where they facilitated strategy development and assisted the Country Executive Committee. Most recently, Jeroen worked at Yarowa AG, an insurtech scale-up company, as a Business Developer & Project Manager. Jeroen led the company's market entry in Italy, establishing a local structure, adapting the offering to the market, and launching the first customer. Jeroen's current role is Head of Value Propositions at Helvetia Insurance Switzerland.

Jeroen van 't Hooft has a diverse education history. Jeroen began their academic journey at Murmellius Gymnasium Alkmaar from 1996 to 2002, where they obtained A-levels equivalent in the Economics & Social Sciences profile. Jeroen then attended the University of Groningen from 2003 to 2006, completing a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in International Economics & Business.

In 2002, Jeroen briefly studied at the Università per Stranieri di Perugia, where they acquired a CELI 3 certification in Italian. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Mannheim from 2006 to 2007 to focus on Economics, but did not obtain a specific degree.

Jeroen continued their education at the Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2008 to 2010, where they successfully completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Economics. During their time at the Erasmus University, they also attended the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a summer school program in Advanced Corporate Finance in 2009.

Additionally, Jeroen pursued further specialization in their field by attending the University of St.Gallen in 2021. There, they earned a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Digital Transformation.

In terms of certifications, Jeroen obtained the Certified Wealth Management Advisor certification from the Swiss Certification Service in March 2012.
