Alizahra Chunara

Alizahra Chunara is an accomplished professional in strategic procurement and logistics management, currently serving as Chef achats stratégiques at Héma-Québec since October 2020. Previously, Alizahra held various leadership roles at CIUSSS de l'Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal, including Chef de service - Achats, and contributed significantly to the CIUSSS du-Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal as Chief of Procurement Services and Chief of Logistics (interim). With extensive experience in logistics coordination for international organizations such as SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL and the International Rescue Committee, Alizahra effectively improved procurement systems and logistics operations, achieving notable cost savings and efficiencies. An educational background featuring a Master’s in Operations Management from McGill University and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo further supports Alizahra's expertise in global supply chain and logistics.
