Fairooz Nizam

Fairooz Nizam currently serves as the Manager of Medical Services and Manager of Allied Health Care Services and OPD at Hemas Hospitals Sri Lanka, a position held since January 2022. Nizam has extensive experience in the medical field, having worked as a Doctor at the Health Ministry since February 2006 and previously as Chief Medical Officer at Nawaloka Hospital Negombo from April 2015 to July 2021. Additional experience includes a tenure as Senior House Officer at Base Hospital Diyatalawa from February 2007 to August 2013. Nizam's educational background includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Colombo, a Masters of Public Administration and Management from the University of Colombo, a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management from NIBM India, and a Post Graduate Extend Diploma in Strategic Management from Edulink International Campus.
