Ingrid Sumpter

Ingrid Sumpter is an experienced scientific research liaison and histotechnician, currently employed at Hematogenix since August 2015, where responsibilities include performing research and developmental experiments in immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization, as well as training histology staff on project-specific materials. Prior experience includes serving as a senior histotechnician at Northwestern Memorial Hospital from October 2009 to August 2015, overseeing microtomy and staining procedures and collaborating with pathologists on new antibody validations. Ingrid also worked at Charles River Laboratories as a histology technician II from May 2005 to October 2009, performing various histology procedures and conducting necropsies. Career foundations include a bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from Cornell University.
