Jean-Claude Metzger

Jean-Claude Metzger has over 10 years of professional experience in engineering, software development, and regulatory affairs. From 2006 to 2009, they completed an internship at ABB Switzerland Ltd., where they worked on temperature monitoring of a high voltage product and motor parameter identification. From 2009 to 2010, they were a Software Engineer at Dacuda AG. From 2010 to 2015, they were a Research Assistant at ETH Zurich, where they developed, controlled, and evaluated a hand rehabilitation robot for patients after neurologic injury, as well as working on regulatory affairs and clinical study design. Finally, from 2017 to present, they have been the Head of Product Development at hemotune AG.

Jean-Claude Metzger obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich between 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Master thesis in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2009. Jean-Claude also obtained a Master in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich between 2003 and 2009. In 2017, they obtained a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
