Joe Caprio, PE, LEED AP BDC is a Professional Mechanical Engineer with over 10 years of experience in designing and delivering engineering solutions for major construction projects. Joe specializes in the design of HVAC systems using the latest components and techniques. Joe has a strong track record of managing multiple multidisciplinary projects simultaneously from inception through design and into the construction phase. Joe has demonstrated the ability to lead a team of technical professionals to implement innovative, cost-effective, and quality design solutions that align with client goals. Joe has worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Fiskaa Engineering from June 2007 to July 2008, where they created detailed drawings and documents for bids and executed load calculations using design and analysis software programs. Joe then joined ICOR Associates, LLC as a Mechanical Engineer in August 2008 and later became a Project Manager in December 2012. At ICOR Associates, Joe managed multiple projects simultaneously and led a team to deliver successful engineering solutions. In 2017, Joe joined AECOM as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and worked there until April 2019. Currently, they are working at Henderson Engineers as a Mechanical Engineer - Project Manager since April 2019. Joe is certified as a Professional Engineer (PE) in 2014.

Joe Caprio, PE, LEED AP BDC attended The College of New Jersey from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In April 2014, they obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs. Later, in November 2020, they earned the LEED AP Building Design + Construction certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Most recently, in July 2023, they obtained another Professional Engineer (PE) certification, this time from New York State.
