Brian Bessent

Brian Bessent has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, primarily with Hendrick Health and Hendrick Health System. Brian has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including Vice President at Hendrick Health System since June 1999 and Chief Strategy and Experience Officer at Hendrick Health since September 2023. Brian also served as the Chief Administrative Officer at Hendrick Medical Center South from December 2021 to September 2023 and as the Chief Operating Officer at Hendrick Health from October 2020 to January 2022.

Brian Bessent has a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist from Hardin-Simmons University, which they completed between 1992 and 1996. Brian further pursued their education at the University of North Texas, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist from 1996 to 1998. Currently, Brian is pursuing an Executive Master's of Health Administration degree at Trinity University, with an expected completion date of 2021.
