Ethan Shepherd has extensive experience in human resources, particularly in the healthcare industry. Ethan started their career at Abilene Regional Medical Center in 2012 as a Human Resources Intern, and later served as an HR Generalist, Project Management Assistant, and Educational Technology Assistant. In 2016, they were promoted to HR Manager and then HR Director, overseeing the HR function, wage administration, onboarding, and various personnel issues. In 2020, Hendrick Health purchased Abilene Regional Medical Center and Ethan transitioned to become the HR Director at Hendrick Medical Center South. Ethan currently holds the position of Hendrick Health Director, Talent Acquisition and Development, where they provide strategic oversight for recruitment and leadership development functions at Hendrick Health.
Ethan Shepherd obtained a Master's Degree in Organizational Development from Abilene Christian University in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Human Resource Management from the same institution, graduating in 2013. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in 2020, and Certified Mediator from Duncum Center for Conflict Resolution in 2015.
