Rachel Gonzalez has extensive work experience in various Human Resources roles. Rachel started their career as a Human Resources Assistant at Spectro Analytical Instruments, Inc in 1996 and later became the Human Resources Manager. Rachel transitioned the HR office out of state when the company relocated. From 2000 to 2011, Rachel worked as the Human Resources Director at Phoenix House, where they transformed the HR function into a strategic business partner. Rachel successfully implemented new HRIS systems and managed all HR functions for the Texas region. Rachel then moved on to Anthem, Inc. as a Senior Human Resources Manager, providing strategic support to their Amerigroup Texas Medicaid business units. Rachel oversaw talent acquisition, talent development, and performance management. Rachel then took on a role as a Consultant Resume Writer and Job Coach, helping job seekers with their resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation. Currently, they are the Manager of HR Business Partners at Medxcel Facilities Management, leading a team while supporting leadership and executing HR strategies. Overall, Rachel has a strong background in strategic HR management, talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.

Rachel Gonzalez earned their MBA in Management, Human Resources Management from St. Edward's University from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained their BA in Psychology from the same university from 1991 to 1995. Rachel also holds additional certifications, including the SHRM-SCP obtained from SHRM in July 2015 and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification obtained from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in June 2013.
