Michelle Tinkham Ph.D.

Michelle Tinkham PhD, MSN, RN, CNOR is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Manager of Risk Management and Palliative Care Nurse at Hendrick Health since January 2017. In addition to these roles, Michelle has been a Surgical Services Educator at the Academy of Prosocial Learning and a Nursing Faculty member at Nurses International. As the Owner and President of Tinkham Consulting and Medical Writing, Michelle offers professional writing, consulting, and speaking services. Previous experience includes serving in the US Army Reserves as a Captain and holding various nursing and educational positions at organizations such as Eisenhower Medical Center and Riverside Community Hospital. Michelle’s educational background includes a PhD in Animal Behavior and Ethology and advanced degrees in nursing education and health care administration, complemented by multiple certifications in trauma nursing, emergency care, and life coaching.
