Ulrike Sapiro has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ulrike currently serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer at Henkel since May 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director Sustainability, Water Stewardship & Sustainable Agriculture at The Coca-Cola Company from April 2018 to May 2021. In this role, they developed global water security strategies and programs, as well as set a roadmap for sustainable agricultural ingredient sourcing.

From 2007 to 2017, Ulrike worked in various sustainability roles at The Coca-Cola Company, including Director Sustainability, Europe; Director, Environment & Communities; and Environmental Sustainability Director.

Before joining The Coca-Cola Company, Ulrike worked at Thames Water, UK, from 2001 to 2007. Ulrike held the positions of External Affairs Manager & Head of Stakeholder Engagement, European Affairs Manager, and Attachee de Direction during their tenure there.

Ulrike Sapiro holds a Master's degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Ulrike also obtained a Diploma in Political Sciences from the same institution between 1994 and 1999. In 2005 and 2006, they pursued postgraduate studies in Sustainable Development at the University of Cambridge. Additionally, they completed a Climate Leadership Programme at the University of Cambridge in 2009. Ulrike also holds Postgraduate Certificates from the University of Cambridge.
