Jan Merz

Jan Merz has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and chemical analysis sectors, currently working as a Chemielaborant at HENNIG ARZNEIMITTEL GmbH & Co. KG since July 2018. Prior to this role, Jan held a similar position at Umforana from January 2015 to June 2018, focusing on the instrumental analysis of pharmaceuticals using HPLC and IC techniques, specifically managing Agilent HPLC systems and Dionex IC systems. Earlier experience includes a tenure as a Chemical Technician at Boehringer Ingelheim from September 2005 to August 2011, where Jan developed and optimized HPLC and GC methods and validated HPLC methods for cleaning validation in production facilities. Jan Merz holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Pharmamanagement und -technologie from SRH Riedlingen and has pursued studies in Biotechnik at FH Bingen.
