Elise Boykin

Community School Director at Henry Street Settlement

Elise Boykin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Elise began their career as an Assistant Science Educator at the Brooklyn Children's Museum, where they created and facilitated programs and provided care for animals. Elise then worked as a Temporary Office Assistant at Jennifer Temps, Inc., where they performed clerical tasks. Elise also served as a Classroom Assistant at the NYC Department of Youth & Community Development, caring for students and helping maintain order in the classroom. Elise later joined Drew University as a Desk Attendant, Customer Support, and Writing Center Tutor. At the NYC Department of Education, Elise worked as a School Counselor Intern and provided counseling and maintained behavior records for students. Elise also worked at New York University as an Interim Administrative Aide, assisting with university events and addressing concerns from parents and students. Currently, Elise is working at Henry Street Settlement as a Community School Director, overseeing various educational programs and providing support to students, families, and the UNMS community.

Elise Boykin has a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services, which they obtained from New York University in the years 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Drew University in the years 2010 to 2014.
