Okan Toyran

Okan Toyran has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Okan is currently the Head of Digital Finance Business at Hepsiburada Financial Services Group since May 2023. Prior to that, they were the Business Execution Lead at Paycell from July 2022 to May 2023. Okan also worked at Vodafone from September 2019 to July 2022 in the Mobile Financial Services department. Before that, Okan worked at Garanti BBVA from May 2017 to April 2019, holding various roles including Project & Acquisition Finance and SME Banking. Okan also worked at Garanti BBVA in Strategic Planning and Performance Analytics from March 2015 to July 2016, and in Strategic Planning from September 2012 to March 2015. At the beginning of their career, Okan worked as a Management Consultant at Consulta Management Consulting Turkey from January 2012 to September 2012.

Okan Toyran completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University from 2006 to 2011. Okan then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Economics and Finance at the same university from 2012 to 2013. After that, they attended İstanbul Aydin University from 2014 to 2017 and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Business Management. Currently, they are pursuing a second PhD degree in Industrial Engineering at Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi, starting in 2018 and anticipated to finish in 2022. Prior to university, Okan Toyran attended Pertevniyal Anatolian High School from 2002 to 2006, focusing on Science.
