Anna Cooper

Anna Cooper has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Anna started their career in 2011 at the Biochemical Society, where they worked as a Journals Publishing Assistant and later as an Editorial Administrator for Portland Press. In 2013, they interned as a Production Assistant at the World Science Festival before moving up to a Production Associate role.

In 2014, Anna joined the University of Otago as a Research Assistant while completing their PhD in Medicinal Chemistry. During their time there, they also worked as an Industrial Postdoctoral Scientist at Sosei Heptares, specializing in Medicinal Chemistry. Anna advanced in their career at Sosei Heptares, holding the positions of Senior Scientist I and currently Senior Scientist II since 2021.

Anna's work experience demonstrates their capabilities in scientific research, publishing, production, and project management.

Anna Cooper's education history begins in 2005 when they attended the University of St Andrews. Anna pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry with Pharmacology, completing their studies in 2008.

In 2009, Anna enrolled at The School of Pharmacy, University of London, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Drug Discovery. Anna'sstudies in this program lasted until 2010.

Anna's education continues at the University of Otago, where they embarked on a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program specializing in Medicinal Chemistry in 2014. Anna successfully completed their PhD in 2018.

Throughout their education, Anna has focused on the fields of Chemistry, Pharmacology, Drug Discovery, and Medicinal Chemistry.
