Thomas Pickard

Thomas Pickard has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Thomas'smost recent position was as the Vice President of Engineering at HerdDogg, Inc., where they started in January 2024. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Engineering at WinterWinds Technologies from April 2021 to January 2024. From 2017 to 2021, Thomas held the position of Director of Product at Kelvin Inc., with a short stint as a Product Manager in the same company. Thomas also worked as a Software Engineer at XetaWave from 2015 to 2017 and at Skyline Products, Inc. from 2014 to 2016. Thomas started their career as an Electrical Engineer at TASC, Inc. in 2012 and later transitioned to the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, where they worked as an Electrical Engineer from 2000 to 2012.

Thomas Pickard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, where they attended from 2001 to 2005. Thomas later pursued a Master of Electrical Engineering degree at The Catholic University of America from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their academic achievements, they obtained a certification in SkyWAN from ND SatCom in 2013.
