Don Peterson

Don Peterson is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in digital map software development and content delivery, currently serving as the VP of Engineering and Head of Content Engineering at HERE since September 2004. Previously, Don held various roles at AT&T Bell Laboratories from March 1982 to April 2004, culminating in a leadership position within an entrepreneurial organization focused on technology development for consumer and business internet services. Don's expertise encompasses software development leadership, organizational design, Agile and Lean SDLC methodologies, and the operational management of AI/ML projects. Don earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from North Central College, and holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics/Physics from Augustana University (SD).
