Sean Farrell

Sean has a number of roles within the broader Hereford Group. As a chartered Accountant Sean has oversight over the Hereford Group’s finances. In addition, he heads up the groups asset management interest in Seed Investments.

Sean began his career at Deloitte in 1991 and, post qualification as a Chartered Accountant, took up a position at Automakers. During this time, Sean developed a keen interest in the financial services industry, and completed his last year at Automakers as head of Treasury. In 1998 Sean joined Origin, which evolved into RMB Private Bank where he was CFO for 8 years and then CEO for 4 years until his departure from the company in 2011. Sean then moved to the Cape, and teamed up with the Hereford Group and Seed Investments where he currently serves as Executive Director and CEO. Sean is passionate about seeing people succeed and fulfil their potential, and serves as a mentor in different spheres.
